LIF - Law and Internet Foundation

Law and Internet Foundation (LIF) is a Bulgarian NGO & Research centre which supports and performs applied studies, scientific researches, programmes and projects in the field of legal, technological, economic and social issues related to the fast penetration of information and communication technologies both in public and private sectors. Recently the activities of the organisation have been focused on transferring knowledge, expertise and best practices for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
Law and Internet Foundation has a strong focus on legal & ethical aspects when it comes to the development of innovative technologies. Our recent projects include topics such as Cybersecurity, Migration, Data protection, ICT technologies in the field of criminal law and procedures. We have a vast experience in ensuring the compliance of H2020 project with all relevant legal & ethical regulations.
Currently Law and Internet Foundation has an experienced team of researchers and counts on the competence and expertise of more than leading specialists – academics in prestigious universities, legal, experts, experts in human rights, project management, and communication. LIF works hard for delivering the experts’ knowledge to the society through initiating, supporting and conducting activities for implementation of applied studies, researches, programmes and projects in the field of new technologies, technological development and innovations.
During the last 19 years Law and Internet Foundation has successfully implemented by its own or with partnership more than 120 projects.
